Bischoff's Medical, founded in 1931 in San Jose, CA, by Ed Bischoff's grandfather, is a three generation family business. In November, 2001, Ed Bischoff split from his brother who owns the San Jose location. Until then, Ed had worked in the family medical supply business for almost 30 years. Ed currently operates nine successful corporate medical supplies stores in locations throughout the Bay area and Sacramento, and his wife is the Medicare biller and expert. Because Ed has worked in every position in the business as driver, warehouse worker, bookkeeper, salesperson, manager, and owner, he knows and understands the business thoroughly. He has also taken the training required to work in this business.
